Equipment, safety and weather
Where should a new player start?
Juniors is the foundation here at Elevate, and the place to start for pre-K to 6th graders. We teach the game through fun games, with no equipment needed and no direct contact. Juniors runs in summer, fall, winter and spring.
What equipment do boys need?
Helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, stick, mouth guard, and tennis shoes or cleats.
What equipment do girls need?
Goggles, stick, mouth guard, and tennis shoes or cleats.
What do juniors need?
Nothing. Sticks are provided. Dress in athletic wear. Juniors use sticks and tennis balls and there is no direct contact.
Can we rent gear for camp?
Yes. Full equipment is required for all camps, and we offer $40 rental gear packages for every camp. Add a rental to your registration when enrolling.
Where can we buy equipment?
Dick's Sporting Goods and Play It Again Sports, or online.
Is it safe?
Safety is our number one priority. Elevate reinforces good sportsmanship and safe play in every program.
What happens in bad weather?
Weather updates are posted by email and text message. If games or sessions are fully cancelled, we notify players and teams about potential make-ups. Whether a refund applies depends on the program: the fall league, fall development, fall juniors and the high school girls summer league issue no refunds for weather.
