This summary describes what information Team Scout collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Team Scout web app and mobile app.
What we collect
Your phone number (used to sign you in) and the information you provide — name, email, the details you enter in registrations, ticket purchases, volunteer sign-ups, and messages, plus information an organization you belong to records about your membership. We also collect basic technical data (device, app version, approximate usage) to operate and improve the service.
How we use it
To run the platform: authenticate you, show you your organizations and teams, process registrations and payments, send notifications you've opted into, and provide admin tools to the organizations you belong to. We don't sell your personal information.
Who can see your information
Admins of organizations you join can see the information relevant to your membership there. Other members may see what you choose to share (e.g., posts, profile). We use service providers — including Supabase (database/auth), Stripe (payments), and email/SMS providers — to operate Team Scout; they handle data on our behalf. Access to organization data is enforced at the database level.
Children
Parents and guardians register and manage information for minors. That information is visible to the relevant organization's admins and to the guardians on the account.
Your choices
You can edit your profile, manage notification preferences, and request account deletion at teamscout.co/delete-account. Deletion is phone-verified with a 30-day reversible grace period. Some records (for example, payment records an organization is legally required to keep) may be retained.
