Mites, 6U and 8U

No tryouts for Mite 1 and 2 or 6U. Upper Mite and 8U teams are set by evaluation, and the evaluation is 100 percent based on time: the stopwatch is the sole judge. Development clinics are included in registration.

Mites play cross-ice 3v3, moving to more full-ice play late in the year; Minnesota Hockey allows up to 10 full-ice games after January 15. The season ends with the Mite Jamboree, March 11 to 14, 2027.

Goalie equipment is provided by MYHA for mites interested in trying the position.
