Practice schedule
- Dry land: Tough Tuesdays, June to November.
- On snow at Hyland from Tuesday, December 1: Monday to Thursday, 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
- Wednesdays 7:00 to 9:00 PM, and select Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:00 to 9:00 PM.
- Select weekends when races aren't scheduled.
Racing
- The Region 1 U.S. Ski & Snowboard U16+ scored race schedule.
- The Central Mid-Am FIS series (Northstar FIS program).
- Rocky/Central U18 qualifying FIS races (Northstar FIS program).
- Out-of-division FIS races (Northstar FIS program).
Championship events
- Central FIS Champs at Lutsen (Northstar FIS program).
- Rocky/Central FIS Champs, location to be announced (Northstar FIS program).
- U18 Nationals, location to be announced (Northstar FIS program).
The program includes
- A 16-week on-snow training program at Hyland Hills.
- Coaching at all CR1 U.S. Ski & Snowboard races.
- Extended morning training between Christmas and New Year's.
What Northstar FIS adds
Everything in the U18+ Local US Ski program, plus:
- An individual fall planning meeting with athlete, parent and coach ($150 value).
- FIS race entry management ($200 value).
- Coaching at Mid-Am FIS races ($100 per day value).
- Coaching at out-of-division FIS races ($100 per day value).
- Free simulator use ($50 per session value).
- Free speed ski use ($150 per weekend value).
- A customized training bib ($50 value).
In the U18+ Local US Ski program, the Northstar FIS benefits can be bought on their own at the value shown.
Registration and licenses
Registration
Registration opened Tuesday, July 28, 2026. The 2026-27 season is full, so new families join the waitlist.
Returning families: watch for the club's email.
Payment
Pay in full, or in two or three installments. Card payments carry a 2.85% fee.
US Ski and Snowboard license
- Choose "Competitor U16 and older" (Alpine category).
- Buy it at usskiandsnowboard.org by Thursday, October 15, 2026.
FIS license
- Add a FIS license to your US Ski license purchase.
- The FIS license is $85 before August 15 and $155 after August 15.
Add-on programs and camps
- Training Haus fall dry land program, Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons.
Camps
- Lithuania Indoor Slalom Camp in August.
- MEA Europe Camp in October.
- Early Fall Camp at Winter Park, November 13 to 17.
- Thanksgiving Camp at Big Sky, November 26 to 30.
- New Year's Camp at Giants Ridge (tentatively), December 28 to 31.
- Spring Camp at Winter Park in May.
