About
Central Region 1
U.S. Ski & Snowboard's Central Division region for Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota. We plan and host slalom, giant slalom and super G races for every level, all winter.
Who we are
Central Region 1 is the premier destination for Minnesota youth skiing sports. We support athletes and families with excellent, well-organized races and events, so young athletes can grow in the sport to their utmost potential.
We follow U.S. Ski & Snowboard, FIS and USOC rules for competition, and our coaches are trained in the SafeSport code of conduct.
The Central Division covers Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota and Missouri. Region 1 is Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota; the other states are Regions 2 and 3.

Pierce tuning seminars
Learn to tune your own skis at Pierce, 208 West 98th Street, Bloomington. Free seminars on Tuesdays, January 5, 12, 19 and 26, 2027, 7:00 to 8:30 PM, led by Eric Jacobson. Classes are limited to 15 a week, so register ahead.
