How registration works

1. One membership, one cart

Since 2019 the national, Central Division and Region 1 fees are collected at one time, in your MyUSSA account. Every athlete from U8 through college and seniors registers this way, so no regional fee is missed.

Athletes who plan to race FIS must be paid by August 15 each year to avoid late fees. All other athletes must be paid by October 15. If you are unsure whether to sign up for FIS, talk to your coaches.

Register or renew in MyUSSA

2. Enter races on SkiReg

Region 1, Central and Rocky races take entries on SkiReg. Regular entry closes at 11:59 PM on the Tuesday of race week. Late entry, with a fee, runs through Wednesday. There is no on-site entry. Missed both? Ask the Region 1 administrator, Caryn Jones, whether a manual entry is still possible; a larger late fee applies.

  1. Go to skireg.com and choose Sign In, then Create An Account, then Create Participant Account. Use your child's name and birthday and an email you check regularly (not your child's).
  2. More children: connect them with Manage Additional Participants so you do not log in and out for each one.
  3. Under Upcoming Nearby Events, enter your zip code, choose Edit, check the Alpine box, and the races in your range appear.
  4. Open the race, check every box that applies (gender, age group, date) and Add To Cart.
  5. Scroll to Select Participant Profile and double-check everything. If the team or U.S. Ski & Snowboard number is missing, add it at the bottom of the page.
  6. Register Another Participant if you need to, then Proceed To Checkout.

Coaches register too
